All American Archery JOAD News
The Spring II Session will begin on May 12.
Cost is $120 per archer (8-week session).
Class sizes: We strive to adhere to a limit of no more than 8 students per class in order to provide as much individualized instruction as possible and maintain a focused environment where each archer is able to perform at their best.
JOAD participants should check with Coach Tom to determine which practice group would best serve their individual needs. Archers are admitted into practice groups based on their demonstrated level of ability and available class space. Those who have not yet participated in an All American Archery JOAD class should register for the Bronze Group or the Girls Group. Contact Coach Tom with any questions about group placement.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
JOAD Youth Program is for archers 7-17, girls or boys, who are interested in developing consistent shooting ability by working on fundamentals of good archery form and shooting technique. The program is organized into four practice groups as follows:
JOAD Bronze Group is for new and developing archers, girls or boys, of any level of experience and will focus on the practice of good archery through a variety of group games and activities. Participants work on fundamentals of good form including stance, posture, focus, release and follow-through. Continuing members may have earned Green and/or Purple achievement pins and are working on earning their Gray or White pin.
JOAD Silver Group is for experienced archers, girls or boys, who are shooting at a level equivalent to a White, Black, or Blue JOAD achievement star pin. Participants have demonstrated the essentials of fundamental archery form and technique and are ready for some advanced instruction to increase their level of performance.
JOAD Gold Group is for advanced archers, girls or boys, who may be competing or are interested in competing in tournaments – local, regional, or national. These archers typically own and use their own equipment and may practice (on their own) more than once a week. Archers should have earned JOAD pins of white, black, blue or red level, consistently demonstrate the fundamentals of the USA Archery National Training System and are ready for advanced shooting techniques.
JOAD Girls Group is for archers 7-17, girls only. Archers of any ability/experience level are welcomed to participate in this program that will include all the activities and achievement award opportunities of JOAD, featuring instruction by BHU Club President Debbie Golzen, along with Head Coach Tom Hinojosa.
